Our Story

Nearly Four Decades of Teaching Spanish

The Spanish Language Center was founded in 1986 and has grown into the premier destination for adults in San Diego who need real, functional Spanish — not memorised phrases, but the confidence to hold a genuine conversation.

From the very beginning, we have tailored our instruction to each student’s goals — a lawyer preparing for a case in Mexico, a doctor connecting with patients, or a professional building bridges with Spanish-speaking colleagues.

Over the years we have developed our own interactive, visual method and a proprietary curriculum used exclusively at the school. It helps our students reach their goals faster than apps or generic tutoring ever could.
